The Justice, Art and Youth in Action Initiative is seeking partners across Nova Scotia, who can collaborate supporting artists under 30 to make change, and tell the stories that need to heard about justice issues in Nova Scotia. The project’s three lead partners (The Michaëlle Jean Foundation, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and Youth Art connection) are working to raise funds to support young artists through the project and are seeking opportunities to collaborate in the roll-out of the project.

We are looking for partners with connections to communities and youth across Nova Scotia, and with expertise in the issues connected to the project’s ‘Justice Pillars’, to partner in various ways including meeting in person/onlinethe project’s core team once a month, attend and promote the monthly peace forums from January-April, and help us reach as many Nova Scotians as possible in creating the action plan. As more project details emerge we are excited to find more ways to collaborate with Nova Scotia’s rich tapestry of communites and organizations to find other creative ways to collaborate to make change in Nova Scotia through the power of the arts.
