Paige Cameron

Paige Cameron is a part of a new wave of successful young artistic entrepreneurs in Nova Scotia.

Locally, you’ll find Paige hanging out at Volta, speaking on panels and at special events, as well as collaborating with Youth Art Connection. She has sold art at all the major comic and gaming conventions in the Maritimes as well as been featured in the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s ‘4th Wall’ exhibit with her piece You Cannot Delete This.

Globally, Paige’s impact can be felt as far away as China, where as a contributor to Valve Software’s DOTA 2 her art is sold to gamers across the world. As a result, Paige has been given the opportunity to travel to Seattle to network with the world’s largest technology companies.

As a woman in the technology sector and a loudly proclaimed feminist, Paige works hard to speak up for diversity in the gaming industry and encourage young women programmers. Her other focuses include support for mental health. She strives every day to be a ‘social entrepreneur.’

She currently holds the position of CEO and co-founder of Whiterend Creative, a gaming company based in Halifax.

Paige’s vision for Nova Scotia is a province exporting creative innovations through the support of technology. Whether that be t-shirt designs, music, handmade crafts, video games, or phone apps, we can show the world that Nova Scotia can compete on a global scale
