Mariah has been a part of the YAC team for over 2 years now, wearing several hats, including Finance and Operations Coordinator, and actively being the glue behind the scenes during such a transitional period of the organization.

Shevy has been involved with Youth Art Connection many times & in many different capacities for over 8 years now - facilitating ARTpreneurs, hosting events, mentoring artists, and being an all-around incredible human that is always looking to grow, and use that growth to improve the lives of everyone she comes into contact with.

“In my experience, Youth Art Connection has continuously acted as a bridge of connectivity between youth and the arts across Nova Scotia. Words can not express how much of an honor it is for me to be able to be a part of that now every day! It makes me proud to witness firsthand the unity, love, and support our art scene maintains on its own from the lens of an artist. Now, as I shift gears, I am excited to see what we can achieve collectively as I take on this new role as Program Director!”
